Hello sweet friends! Christmas is almost upon us. I am so excited! As we get ready for the season, there is so much to look forward to and so much to do. I don’t know about you, but I can easily get distracted by many things and lose sight of the main thing—Jesus—the “Christ” of Christmas.
A few years ago, one of my sweet coworkers, Chrissi, sent our grade group a verse every day leading up to Christmas Day. It was such a blessing to all of us.
God’s Word is multiplied when we share it together.
I love to write about the Lord. It focuses my attention away from the world and onto Him. The Lord has put it on my heart to put a little advent devotional together and I thought I would share them with you each morning, starting tomorrow December 1 and leading up to Christmas Day. Some are ones I have written in the past. Some are things others have written. And others have been written for this Christmas season.
Advent means the arrival or coming of an important person, thing, or event.
Advent is here! Let us celebrate together our Lord Jesus’s coming!
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Isaiah 9:6
Thank you so much for doing this.
